Mexican Folk Art: Feather Painting

Could have knocked me over with a feather, sorry couldn't resist but this feather painting was just amazing. This is in the permanent collection of the National Museum of Mexican Art in Chicago.
Meanwhile back home in life drawing I'm attempting to get out of the habit of drawing small and get bigger and FILL the page.
