The Body Art Expo



Premium Tattoo will be exhibitors at the Body Art Expo held at the Cow Palace. Due to our participation we will be closed Saturday August 17 and Sunday August 18. We will reopen at our regular time at 11am on Tuesday. See ya at the Body Art Expo! 



Chilling Effects on WHO?







Some of my DCMA complaints are now publicly listed on Chilling Effects Clearinghouse  (google removed all but  one of my images from the infringing spammy sites that is listed on CE). However one site seems to continue getting away with some very questionable behaviour.  Basically what this site does is grab your images and when you click on each image source/search it opens other windows

Irregularity of Stitch


There is something about the imperfections and irregularity of embroidery stitches that so appeals to me



 perhaps for the same reason I love the texture of oil paintings, it's that human touch. I am loving sneaking in metallic embroidery thread just for that glint of shimmer that catches the eye.

The weather Sunday morning was GLORIOUS and I started the day stitching in the Gazebo.

I visited a new vintage retro shop in town, Atomic Fox, and picked up a really cool pair of vintage scissors. They are made in the usa and called "eversharp" and can be found on sale in quite a few places online.
